Editing and Critique Service:

Fees are charged according to the number of pages and if you wish you can include in your submission a synopsis of no more than 2 pages, which you include as part of your page-count.

All manuscripts should be printed double-spaced in 12 point font, with good margins to allow for annotation and on one side of the A4 paper only. Manuscripts should be paginated and a word-count added.

This package is recommended for a quick assessment of your writing ability and also to judge how well the opening of your story or novel is working. This, along with Packages B to E, can be helpful if you need to judge whether it is worth progressing with the work.

B         Ten Page Appraisal

           (OR 3000 word short story)                 £45

C         Fifteen Page Appraisal

           (OR 5000 word short story)                 £60

D         Appraisal of up to 30 pages               £100

E         Appraisal of up to 50 pages.              £140

F         Appraisal of up to 75 pages.              £180

I          Appraisal of up to 200 pages.            £340

J         Appraisal of up to 250 pages.             £395
